August 2, 2011 - Talent Login
After much testing and experimentation, the next phase of our website is ready to roll out to you, the Talent. On the bottom of your invoice you will find your temporary Talent Login and Password for our website. Go to www.ExtrasManagement.com. On the top right corner you will see the login and password fields. Enter your temporary information and click Login. You will be redirected to a screen to create your permanent username (min. 5 characters) and password (min. 8 characters). DO NOT FORGET WHAT YOU PUT INTO THESE FIELDS. When you click “Create” your permanent Login and Passwords will be recorded for your future use and you will be connected to your data. We will be expanding the database in the near future with the Attributes that we have on file.

September 9, 2010 - Schedule Confirmations
To our valued clients,
Here is what we learned from the first week of the schedule confirmations:
- We received over 700 responses to the schedule confirmation email. Unfortunately 1/2 of them shouldn't have been sent. When an email says "do NOT reply unless you have a schedule change" then please, DO NOT reply with "OK" or "Schedule correct". ONLY reply with changes! That way we can focus on the replies that are important.
- When you do reply with a change, please don't list the entire week. Just list the changes (ie. "Not avail 11th" or "Not avail 11th - 14th" or "Avail 15th-17th" or "Avail 14,17,20". This will be a HUGE help. By just listing the changes we don't have to compare every day to figure out what date you are changing.
- We are changing how the confirmation will look. The first time we simply sent out a Y or N to indicate that you were available to work, whether booked or not. This was confusing to some. We will now indicate the following:
- N = Not available
- Y = available
- B = booked (you may or may not have been notified yet)
- H = hold (a casting director has asked us to flag you for a potential booking)
- S = stand in
- We will create these confirmations on Friday morning and it literally takes all day to send them out. Please remember that if you change your schedule at noon Friday it will not be reflected on the email.
- You cannot change your availability for the next booking day by email or text. That is the only time that you should call the office to book out as you need to speak to someone to be sure you are not already booked. We send and receive several hundred texts and emails a day and it takes a lot of time to do that. We try to notify you as soon as we can of a booking but the biggest priority is being available to casting to get those bookings! Please understand that we cannot contact you immediately of a booking.
- DO NOT wait until you get an email from us to update your schedule. You are responsible to update your schedule as soon as you know of a change. The email from us is a reminder.
Notes about confirming work calls:
- Some of you were upset with us that we need a confirmation by 8pm. You are blaming the messenger. This is not something that we want to do. Rather, we are required to do this by Central Casting. All we can do is ask each of you to do your best to confirm as quickly as possible when notified of a booking.
- When you receive a text or email notifying you of a job please simply hit REPLY and do it only once! We just need you to confirm that you know that you are booked. DO NOT reply to both the text and email (as we send both), and you don't need to reply that you got your details. Also, some clients are calling in to confirm. Please don't. If you get a text or email then just hit reply to one of them.

September 3, 2010 - Policy Change
Central Casting has put in a change of policy regarding calling services. This change requires us to confirm all booked jobs by 8:00 pm the evening prior to that booked job. In conjunction with this, Extras Management will implement a new program to pre-confirm your availability for the following week.
Beginning the weekend of September 3rd , and every weekend thereafter, we will be sending you a text message or an email listing your availability as we understand it for the following Tuesday - Monday. For those of you that do not have either text messaging or an email address on file with us, we will deliver a voice mail message to the primary phone number we have in our system.
Text and email messages will be originated from the address: News@ExtrasMngt.com. Please take the time to allow that address for delivery by your email provider so it does not get blocked as spam.
IMPORTANT: You only need to reply if the schedule is inaccurate. If you were notified via text message and you have a change to your availability, you need to respond to that text message immediately with your full name and the desired change. If you were notified via email or voice then respond in the same manner via that means. Please do not call and leave a message regarding your availability if you were notified electronically. As always, if you are already booked on a job prior to notifying Extras Management of your schedule change, then you MUST take that job. Failure to do so will be considered a cancellation. Extras Management has always and will continue to maintain a ZERO cancellation policy. That means that you can be terminated from service for failure to take a booking we have scheduled you for. Extras Management records all communications regarding your availably and this policy will be strictly enforced to maintain our good standing and reputation with Central Casting.
It is still solely your responsibility to notify us immediately of any change in your availability. We are taking this additional step to show you what we have as your availability and to help remind you of schedule changes that you may have forgotten to tell us about.
